Car Crash Closes Hightway!!!!!!!!!
On November 22 2007 at 11:00pm there was a a really bad car crash that has closed Highway 420. A taxi driver hit a car's front end just missing the driver's door. Nearly killing a mother of 2. the mother has been rushed to the hospital. The responding police officer had this to say " when i got to the secen i thought that they woman was not going to make it out alive"The fireman said this to say " the taxi driver ran a stop sign and hit the mother's car." "I say he was going fater then 150km"the police officer said. So I ask myself why did the taxi driver run the stop sign and hit the poor woman's car? "It was dark out and my breaks locked up and befor i knew it i plowed right into her car". said the taxi driver. The parimedics at the scene say that the mother should be ok she just has to speed a week in the hospital.

Should In The Heat of Night be required to be read in high schools?
The book In The Heat of Night is a really great book that i say yes hight shool students shoud be required to read it. It shows that blacks and whites are not equal in 1967. The book is BIG on rasuism thats a very big issue in this novle. Its also a really good book for if you like mystery books.
In the book thy think that whites are better than the blacks. I think that we are all equal. To me it doesn't matter what colour you skin is or where you are from.
Rascism is a VERY big thing in this novle for example Sam Woods, and Bill Gillesipie two of the police they're white man and Virgil Tibbs is a black man. Sam always called Tibbs the NEGRO that was working the case.Sam,and Billdidn't have an respect for Tibbs.I don't get why people have to be so rasist. I have friends that are black but i don't think anything more or less of them. I think why do people judge other people by the colour of their skin, or even where their from like Asia or Africa.In the book when Tibbs was out he was attaced by three white man in a parking garage.Then he got attaced again when he was at Jessies for dinner and Jessies little boy called the cops and when they got back to the stashin Tibbs wanted to press chages and Bill said taht he couldn't because of the colour of his skin and that he was a black man that beat up two white men.
Why the book is such a great book is there is a murder and Sam Woods think that Virgil Tibbs. Then he finds out that Tibbs is a dectective in californa and then Tibbs get told by his boss that he has to stay and help out with the soling of the murder. In the beginning of the book Sam Woods and Bill Gillesipie did not respect what Tibbs had to say the just thought that it was a balck boy in a white person town and he did not belong here. By the end of the book Sam Woods and Bill Gillesipie respected Tibbs the took what Tibbs said and they looked into it and didn't just brush it off like they did at the beginning of the book because they just thought that he was allways wrong and didn't know what he was talking about and doing.This book is VERY good book and i think that hight school because they are VERY Rasc to worried each other and they may not know it and they can be very nasty thing that they're saying but they don't know that there doing it to each other.
